Living Room

I went yesterday to the Living Room Lounge with a friend , and it is locaed in Marina Waves. You can see what I’ve ordered in the picture above.

Reviewing what I’ve ordered as following:

  • Living Room Chiller : it was the only good thing in the place . But totally not worth that amount
  • Blue Wave : the waiter brought us a glass filled with ice , and cheap blue syrup at the bottom and a can of RedBull on the side. all that for KD 1.850 !
  • Chilly Fries : this order was a joke ! it was cheap thin french fries from the co-op with Khazzan minced meat on top and a KRAFT cheese slice on top . and they are not even mixed.
  • Mini Burgers : I swear , the bun is the new mini bun from Kuwait Mills. For god’s sake , you buy a subsidized bread for your restaurant !  the beef is a ready made from Khazzan probably.
  • Chicken Liver : nothing close to the one at Nino , it was very very badly burnt with big chunks of burned meat that kept cracking in my mouth.
  • Mix Platter : It had Mushrooms which was from a can and nothing fancy. also , two pieces of a thing that had Cheese and jalapeno inside covered with bread crumbs and it is from Sadia ready made. two pieces of quesadilla that tasted like garbage.

Summary:

  • When I first got in , the reception was VERY cold with no smile or anything and no one really cared , they kept looking at me and waiting for someone else to take seat me.
  • I told the waiter , the chicken liver is badly burned ! he looked at me and said ” oh ? :-) ” and then went away. He didn’t even apologize or offered to take it. Later , he asked us if we wanted anything else . We said , no cause your chicken liver tasted bad so probably everything else is . and when I told you about it you ignored me and left , What kind of customer service is this ?. and what his reply was ? ” hehehehe :-S ” and he left again.
  • All the ingredients of the food , are from the co-op. the place is simply cheap and nothing fancy. Therefore , its not worth all the money and high prices.
  • The place had multiple LCDs around , and they had MELODY channel on ! the place is supposed to have its own theme , like techno music.
  • Sometimes , the waiters use a blender which is right at the bar and soo LOUD that you have to stop your chat and wait for it to finish.
